Advertising can be misleading

I’ve seen several ads on TV lately that could mislead you the consumer. Recently I saw one concerning Windshield repairs  It’s implied that the repair clears totally up.  Normally when a Windshield is repaired the appearance usually improves greatly, but it’s misleading to have people believe that the repair will totally clear out.

Also these ads make consumers believe that their repair system is superior to others.  Notice they give no facts, just assertions.  We use the AEGIS system.Watch Full Movie Online Streaming Online and Download

Their roots go back to 1982, when Robert Birkhauser invented the first AEGIS Windshield Repair System for use by Auto Glass Specialists, Inc., his family’s chain of auto glass installation centers headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. In those days, windshield repair was an emerging service available primarily from repair-only franchises. Viewed as a serious threat to the auto glass replacement industry, windshield repair reduced the demand for replacement and directed referrals away from replacement shops. Never daunted by a challenge, the Birkhausers decided to offer repair as an additional service, but needed high-quality tools without franchise fees. Within a short time, the AEGIS Windshield Repair System was designed, tested and awarded two patents. Marketing began to other auto glass replacement businesses worldwide. Over the years, AEGIS designed innovative glass installation tools and refinements to their windshield repair system. In 2006, the Birkhausers sold the Auto Glass Specialists installation centers to Belron North America but retained AEGIS Tools International, Inc. which is now a separate corporation. AEGIS Tools International, Inc. designs, manufactures and sells a full line of windshield repair equipment and auto glass installation tools.

Over Promised

I can’t tell you of the many times that I’ve heard from our customers of how they were over promised and what they received was under delivered.  It could have been a multitude of items from the price they were quoted to the promise of showing up on a certain day, etc.  We don’t believe in the over promise hype.  We aren’t going to tell you yeah we can do that today and then you find out later that it  was a lie.   I know that emergencies can arise, but our policy is to have our yes be a real yes and our no be no.  We want you to know that our word can be trusted.  Blessings 🙂

Pause, Relect, Yield, Prioritize, Strategize and Anticipate

With the New Year upon us, it’s an excellent time to pause, reflect, prioritize, strategize, and anticipate.  Sometimes we are so busy, that we can’t hear what our heart is trying to tell us – yes even The LORD Himself.  Take time to pause.  Then reflect and take inventory.  If we miss this step we have no way of knowing where we are at.

We must yield our will.  Sometimes to make the right choice in life, we have to totally change our lifestyle and habits.  It’s not easy to do, but we can yield ourselves to a better path, if we truly want a different result.  Having it “our” way isn’t going to bring change.  Yielding ourselves to something better will.   I of course believe, we must yield ourselves the the LORDship of Jesus which comes by following what He says in The New Testament of the Bible.

Priorities are a must.  Unless we have taken the time to evaluate what is important and lasting versus what is temporary, we will be focusing our energies possibly on the wrong things. That which brings pleasure alone should not be our driving impetus. Ponder and Consider what i am saying.

We then need to strategize.  Without a clear plan that works, we will go nowhere fast and ultimately fail. Now having a good plan with clearly defined steps that we can carry out,  our plan will come to fruition.

Last but not least: anticipate. As a farmer sows and waits for the harvest, we too can do the same in anticipation. We must have hope and look forward to what is ahead.  The Bible and The LORD will help you in this area by helping you channel your efforts and energy – Yes if you will ask Him, He will give guidance.   Blessings for the New Year in 2016 and God Bless.  We at Supreme Glass hope and pray your year is full and prosperous.  🙂

The Market is changing

As you know, the market is changing when it comes to Automobiles, Trucks and their glass.  On many of the newest models there can be multiple windshields that fit your vehicle.  Sometimes we ask the customer for the full VIN# so we can call the dealer to determine which windshield is in their vehicle.  Once we have the dealer part #, we can cross reference that number to give you a quote that is accurate and reflective of the Windshield that is in your car or truck.   🙂

A recent customer saying….

Happy Customer 🙂

I just wanted to let you know that I had a great experience having my windshield replaced this morning. Chris and Sean (I think those were their names) called me this morning to make sure the time would still work in my schedule and met me in my work parking lot. They were both very polite and genuinely nice guys throughout the entire process. I can’t tell you how convenient it was to not have to miss work or try to fit the appointment into my lunch hour. Another bonus- extremely affordable! My deductible would have cost me twice as much as a new windshield and other places were just as high. Thank you for providing affordable, friendly and efficient service! I will definitely be referring you to my friends and family.
